洛桑大学(http://www.unil.ch)位于西南部沃州的洛桑市。该校前身是成立于1537年的Schola Lausannensis，首要任务是为教堂培养神职人员。是当时拥有全国惟一的法语新教神学院。1890年升格为大学。

洛桑大学一所重视高新技术研究的国际化大学，30%的教师来自国外。法律和犯罪学、生物医药学和地理环境学是该大学的教学强项。而且，洛桑大学也非常注重各学科之间的合作。
